Link Gear & Machine Company
Link Gear & Machine Company is a privately-owned manufacturing company located in Baltimore, Maryland with over 60 years of experience in custom gear machining. We manufacture custom machine parts, gears, (spur, helical, bevel) and splines for machinery builders and designers. Our parts are used for assembly of new machines and equipment as well as replacement parts and spares. Typical lot sizes range from one-of-a-kind up to a thousand units. Serving the national market place, our customers include leading commercial and industrial companies in the packaging, winding, and filling machine industries, as well as the transportation, food, printing, and medical industries.
The Link Gear & Machine Company provides our customers with full-service capability, including plating and heat treating. Our plant includes a wide range of machines including CNC lathes and machining centers, gear shapers, gear hobbers, bevel gear generators and keyseating machines. The size of our parts range from 1” up to 36” diameter. Materials include carbon steel alloys, cast iron, and plastic.
